Facebook supports the widest range of post types in Repliz. Posts are published to your connected Facebook Page.

Post types

Type	API value	What it publishes
Text	text	A status update with text only.
Image	image	One image with a caption.
Video	video	One video with a caption.
Album	album	2 to 10 images with a caption. Videos can't be mixed in.
Link	link	A post that shares a URL with a preview card.
Reel	reel	A short vertical video published to Facebook Reels.
Story	story	One image or video published to Page Stories. No caption.

For Link posts, the URL is required. The preview title and description are optional (API: meta.url, meta.title, meta.description).

Media requirements

Images

• Formats: JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, GIF.
• File size: up to 10 MB per image. Keep PNG files under 1 MB to avoid compression artifacts.

Videos

• Formats: MP4, MOV, AVI. MP4 with H.264 video and AAC audio is recommended.
• File size: up to 10 GB.
• Duration: up to 4 hours.
• Resolution: 720p (1280 × 720 px) or higher is recommended.
• Aspect ratio: 16:9, 9:16, or 1:1.

Reels

• Formats: MP4, MOV with H.264 video and AAC audio.
• Duration: 3 to 90 seconds.
• Resolution: 1080 × 1920 px recommended (minimum 540 × 960 px).
• Aspect ratio: 9:16.
• Frame rate: 24 to 60 fps.

Stories

• Images: JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIFF, GIF, up to 10 MB. Use 9:16 to fill the screen.
• Videos: MP4, MOV, AVI, up to 4 GB, 3 to 60 seconds, vertical 9:16.

Text limits

• Caption (description): up to 5,000 characters.

Extra options
